Things to know
Check boxes and other fields are not displayed in the iPhone app
The new fields of the Mac version: Password, Checkbox, Web Link and Email are not currently supported by the iPhone version of the app. We are working to support them in the next release.
Printing features
At this time the printing features of the application are limited to print one record at time, we plan to implement more possibilities in the next releases. For printing in Card view keep in mind that the model of the printing feature is WYSIWYG, this mean that the size of the printed elements in the page are proportional of the size of the window of the application: increase the window size to have smaller printed elements and decrease the window size to have larger printed elements. To date there is not way to print in one page the Table view.
Filtering records
iDatabase has a strong basic search feature but at this time don’t support filtering. We are working to offer more flexible searching features in future versions.

Can iDatabase import Appleworks databases?
iDatabase can import data from text files, including comma-separated value, semicolon-separated value as well as tab-delimited.
- Apple Works can export text files using the ’ASCII’ option.
- The extension of the exported file needs to be changed to .csv in order to be visible to iDatabase.
To obtain the desired result you must adjust the importing settings of iDatabase in the Import Window. This is facilitated by a live preview.
