Advanced guide for retrive a hiden folder
Instructions for Mac OS X.
To make a hiden folder visible Under Mac OS X, you can use the application "Super Get Info" by Bare Bones Software.
First of all, download that application from Bare Bones Software site which is located at http://www.barebones.com/, you can find it in the Products area (you can download the Demo version). Then follow these steps:
- Launch "Super Get Info" by double clicking its icon.
- Choose "Open Hidden" from File menu.
- Locate and choose the folder from the Open Dialog Window (please note that the hidden folder you are searching for has a dot before its name).
- In the Info dialog, change the name of the folder by remove the dot and uncheck the "Invisible" check box, then close the dialog window.
Instructions for Mac OS 8 and 9.
To make visible an hiden folder under Mac OS 8 and 9, you can use the application "File Buddy" by SkyTag Software.
First of all, download that application from SkyTag Software site which is located at http://www.skytag.com/, you can find it in the Download File Buddy area. Then follow these steps:
- Launch "File Buddy" by double clicking its icon (you can use the application in "Evalutating" mode).
- Choose "Get Info" from File menu.
- Locate and choose the folder from the Open Dialog Window.
- In the Info dialog, click on the "Flags" disclosure arrow to reveal the flag info for the folder and uncheck the "Invisible" check box, then close the dialog window by clicking Save.
