General Information

About Emoticons
An emoticon, also called a smiley, is a small image, intended to represent a human facial expression and convey an emotion. Emoticons are a form of paralanguage commonly used as extended interpunction symbols in email, instant messaging, online chat and Internet forums. We have a page where we keep online some emoticons that we found around the web here.

How to use them
For download them we suggest you to open Safari (this maneuver may work on other browsers as well), control-click on the desired image and save it to disk, or alternatively, you can save an image in your desktop via standard drag and drop.

Troubleshoting

The images are not animated
Keep in mind that the emoticons are animated gifs and that the animation of this images works in some applications and not in other, this depends on the software and not on the images. Usually the animated gif are correctly displayed in web browser but not in some email clients.
